What will my child have access to?

Who will be my child’s key person?
Your child’s needs will be met by their key person. This is your child’s ‘special’ person and will be chosen by your child once they settle in. You will be given daily feedback by your child’s key person but also given the opportunity to attend a more detailed chat to discuss your child’s progress. Your child’s educational needs are met by their key person tailored approach to learning, ensuring your child’s interests lead their learning and having fun while they learn.
What will my child be doing at nursery?
Our curriculum is specially designed to ensure our nursery provides your child with an in depth holistic approach to all areas of development and well-being. We have specialists come into our nursery to give your child unique opportunities like football and yoga. Adele oversees the implementation of the curriculum to ensure there is a balanced approach to all areas. Our main focus will be on the prime areas of development “Personal, Social and Emotional “and “Physical development” with the understanding that your child is unique and their needs are individual.
Will my child go on outings?
Yes we frequently visit our local parks and nature reserves to enjoy the learning opportunities our area has to offer. Educational visits to places further afield will be planned for and parental permission will always be sought prior to any outings. Safety checks and risk assessments are always carried out.
How will you keep me up to date?
We have a parent app, so you can review your child’s progress whenever it suits you. Just download the App to see your child’s journal with regular photos and observations you can also view your invoice. The App gives you daily information allowing to keep up to date with things that are going on. If anything urgent crops up will give you a call.You can always call us with any worries concerns or questions at anytime. We hold parents information evenings every 6 months, so you can be informed of your child’s progress.
